Southern California investor and developer Dwight Manley acquired the 34-acre Beckman Coulter Campus at 200 South Kraemer Boulevard in Brea, California from a Hines and Oaktree Capital Management joint venture for $140 million. Manley subsequently secured $112 million in acquisition financing from Fortress Investment Group ($107M acquisition loan + $5M operating reserve), arranged by JLL. Manley plans to redevelop the five-building campus into a residential complex centered around a potential Costco-anchored retail component, aided by a 50-year sales tax rebate agreement with the Brea City Council.
